Our Philosophy

Cars are meant to be driven.

That simple idea is the reason Autoriese exists.

The idea

A car that sits still isn't doing what it was built for, and most of us drive ours far less than we would like. A few good days a year, when the timing lines up.

If you love driving, you know the feeling. You own something quick and capable, and you rarely get to use it the way it deserves. Good roads, light traffic, and people you enjoy driving with are hard to line up all at once.

When you go looking, the options tend to fall short. Some drives are over in a single morning. Others run for days but go point to point, cost a small fortune, and leave your family behind. The middle is missing: real road trips, run often enough to become part of your year.

The drive is the point.
What we do

Long-form driving tours on California's best roads.

Multi-day, unhurried, and shaped around the driving itself more than a checklist of stops. Our routes loop rather than running point to point, so family can come along. And because we run them on a regular cadence, the next one is never a year away.

Who it's for

People who would rather use their cars than store them.

Drivers who want a group to share the road with, at a price that keeps good driving within reach. The cars range from track-bred coupes to hot hatches and weekend roadsters, and that mix is part of the fun.

What we hold to
01

The drive is the point

We build the trips around the hours actually spent on a good road. The destination is a place to have dinner and start again in the morning.

02

Use over ownership

A car earns its keep by being driven. We come at this as enthusiasts more than collectors, and the shopping was never where the joy lived.

03

People to drive with

Half the reason to show up is the people. Autoriese began because we wanted others to drive with, and that circle matters as much as any road.

04

Cars are made to be seen

We like sharing these machines, with each other and with anyone who looks up as we pass. A good car on a good road is worth showing off.

05

We drive with those we trust

The roads are real and the pace is real, so trust matters. New drivers usually come along through someone who has driven with them before. It is not gatekept, just selective, so everyone feels good about the company they are keeping.

06

Bring the family

The looping, unhurried format is built so partners and kids can come too. A driving trip should not mean leaving the people you like at home.

Joining

Autoriese grows by word of mouth.

Most new drivers come along because someone who has driven with us brought them. We like it that way. On roads like these, at a pace like this, it helps to know the people around you.

If this sounds like your kind of driving, there is a good chance someone in the group can point you our way.

Come drive with us.
